Hi! I’m a potter from Chester County Pennsylvania.
In February of 2017 I started my journey with pottery. A friend with a studio nearby asked if I wanted to come hang out. She had a wheel, gave me some clay, and then just left me alone. I asked a lot of questions, and she just kept saying,
“Just try it…. if you have an idea, just go for it.”
So, after a few more throwing sessions in her studio, I said, “This is it. I’m diving into this!” My husband and I went later that week and bought a wheel. A few months later I bought a kiln.
Over the past few years I have tried lots of different clay bodies, glazes, and techniques.
Pottery is a life long learning adventure, and I can’t wait to see what comes next!
